Army composition
Team
1. Each team consists of 5 players.  No faction (Codex/WD Index/Supplement) can be used more than once in a team.
2. No codexes/indexes/faqs published after <9.09> may be used.

Player
- Strikeforce
- 2000pts
- FW allowed
- Content Validity Update is in effect
- WTC base size document should be used in regards to how model should be based ( https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1...=893577144 )

Hobby Score:
- each model needs to be assembled and have WYSIWYG
- The armies do have to be properly painted and modeled (as per Battle Ready League Guidelines: https://www.wh40k.pl/showthread.php?tid=...#pid856443), any model found violating this rule will be removed from play.
a) If this results in illegal unit, the unit will also be removed.
b) If the unit removal results in detachment not meeting it's requirements then the detachment will also be removed.
c) If this makes the list illegal the the list will be removed.
d) If B or C happens then the offending player (and only this specific player) may then submit to the judges a list that's as close as possible to the original one without the offending models and if the judges accept it- play the list. This will result in the team losing all of the bonus from sending the rosters on time, or a penalty of up to 40 match points if the team didn't submit valid lists in the 1st place.
- Players using converted or alternative models are expected to contact Bakłażan with photos of such models at 40k discord or via mail (dmpwh40k.kontakt@op.pl) in regards of being allowed to use them. While providing the photo a player is expected to show his converted/alternative model next to an assembled, unaltered original.
Failure to do so WILL result in the models being removed from play, no matter how well done they are.
- Any size difference between a model being used and currently sold, normally assembled one is also subject to the rule above.

General rules:
- we’re using 10th edition rules, with all codexes, FAQs, Chapter Approved, WTC FAQs released before 09.09
- we’ll be playing on 60x44” tables,
- Each game uses a fixed game length: 5 turns will be played,
- the terrain is placed by players, for each table there will be a set of terrains that players have to set up following the table layout in relevant WTC document  for each mission,
- Chess clocks are mandatory. Each player is allocated equally half the remaining round time once pairings have been completed.
- It is MANDATORY that ALL games conclude their full complement of 5 turns within the allotted time.
- When starting battle round 4 if there is, collectively, less than 50 minutes left on the chess clock, or 1 player has less than 25 minutes, then a referee MUST be notified immediately.
- Additionally when starting battle round 5 if there is, collectively, less than 20 minutes left on the chess clock, or 1 player has less than 10 minutes, then a referee MUST be notified immediately.
- In both cases it will be at the discretion of the referees to decide if a game can be completed naturally within the remaining time, or a small extension of up to 5 minutes will be given per player.
- If a referee was not involved within any of the stated timeframes, then no extra time will be given.
- Once a player hits their allotted time on the clock, the normal rules for playing the game no longer apply (rules such as that you MUST attack when it is your turn to fight) and they can take no further actions during the game except in order to:
A – Make saving throws, and taking a Morale Test if required to
B – Score objectives that they have achieved or already hold
- Penalties will be applied at the discretion of the referees if they feel clocks are not managed properly, if players try to abuse time management, or if a game does not complete the mandatory 5 turns.
- Furthermore, if a game does not complete the mandatory 5 turns and a referee hasn’t already been involved, then the captains and coaches are obliged to inform the referees immediately. Failure to do so can incur a penalty at the discretion of the referees. This is so that the referee corps is always aware of any ‘repeat offenders’ and therefore potentially deliberate slow play.

- The players are required to have the relevant rules, faqs etc. for their army,
- The players can, for whatever reason, choose not to play the game- there are 2 options that can be taken:
a) tactical draw- 10:10 match points (0:0 victory points)
b) walkover- 20:0 (50:0)
This has to be communicated ASAP to a referee.
- If something is not in the rules pack the referees can (and will) make relevant rulings during the tourney.

Penalties:
a) Warning- no penalty, but a second warning results in yellow card.
b) Yellow card- -5 points for the team. 2 Yellow Cards will result in a Red Card.
c) Red card- - 20 team points and the player is immediately expelled from the tourney and all his scores are changed to 0:20 (0:50)
The team can put in a substitute player, if that's not possible then any further game will result in a walkover for the enemy.
d) The penalty points from yellow and red cards are cumulative.
e) The referees have the right to escalate any penalty, depending on the gravity of the situation, which means that player can get a red card without previous yellow card of warning, if gravity of the situation is serious.

Terrain:
- the terrain is placed by players, for each table there will be a set of terrains that players have to set up following the table layout in relevant WTC document  for each mission,
- advanced terrain rules from the Rulebook will be in use,
- WTC terrain rules are in effect,
- WTC terrain maps will be used
- It is both captains duty to make sure every table is set up properly

Individual Scoring
Victory points scored by each player for his team are cumulative from these parts:
Primary objectives
Secondary objectives
A tabling does not automatically give a player 20 points. Instead the player who is not tabled
continues to play the game until a natural conclusion.

VP Differential..............Game score
0-4 ............................... 10 - 10
5-9 ............................... 11 - 9
10-14 ........................... 12 - 8
15-19 ........................... 13 - 7
20-24 ........................... 14 - 6
25-29 ........................... 15 - 5
30-34 ........................... 16 - 4
35-39 ........................... 17 - 3
40-44 ........................... 18 - 2
45-49 ........................... 19 - 1
50+ .............................. 20 - 0

TEAM SCORE:
The combined total of all scores from all the players on a given team will give the result for the Team as a whole, up to 65 match points max and 35 points minimum.
Ie. A result of 83:17 would result in a 65:35 score, but a result of 55:45 would result in a 55:45 round score.
If a team has to pause (due to uneven amount of teams) then it's awarded 57mp (57vp) at the end of the round.

Pairings:
1) The players place all the objectives on the table and then Captains check if every terrain on each table is set up as symmetrically as possible and fix any issues described in the maps.
2) Captains roll off to determine which team will get to choose its table first. That team gains the
“table choice” token.
3) Team A and team B secretly choose their defender and reveal them simultaneously.
4) After that, Team A and team B secretly choose their two attackers for the given defender and
reveal them simultaneously.
5) Team A takes the two attackers given by team B, and secretly chooses which one is refused.
6) Team B does the same with the two attackers selected by team A.
At this point, two defenders know their attackers; this identifies two games. Log this on the
score sheet. The Team with the “table choice” token lets his defender choose the table first followed by the defender whose team didn’t have the table choice token. Two tables are now no longer available.
7) Repeat steps 2-5 (until only 2 players remain) with the difference that the Team without the “table choice” token now becomes the owner of this token throughout this pairing step
8) The remaining 2 players play against each other on the remaining table.

Pre-game actions:
* Place objective markers as shown in the mission rules,
* Place terrain as shown in tournament maps,
* Both players choose their secondary objectives in secret and reveal them simultaneously,
* Players roll off to determine who will be the attacker and who will be the defender,
* Defender chooses the deployment zone for his army, attacker takes the other one,
* Both players secretly note down what units start in transports or in reserves and reveal that simultaneously,
* The players alternate setting up their remaining units one at a time, starting with the Defender,
* Roll off – Winner takes the 1st turn,
* Pre-game deployment step for abilities or stratagems that take place prior to the start of the first turn,
* Players announce their remaining available command points and clearly mark this somewhere for their opponent to keep track of during the game,
* Start the first battle round.
